Powerlines F.C.
They changed the name to Powerlines when they entered the N.F.L. Third Division in 1962. It took them five years to gain admittance to the top league but on the way they created a record when they won the Second Division with 38 points gained out of a possible forty and scored a hundred goals with only three against. In their promotion year of 1967 they also won the K.O. Cup. The present Chairman, Dr Manganni, was determined to make a strong bid for premier honours and gathered together such players as Walter da Silva, Forio, Neville Scott and Uriol. The administrative, managerial and coaching side was handled by Jimmy Williams, Mr. Dotto and secretary J. Anderson
