search engine is supported by a small group of volunteer workers. We promote open-source thinking
and technology wherever possible. Advertising on our website makes a small contribution to our
costs. We hope that this search engine may ultimately serve as a general reference of literary
works, although many author's bibliographies remain incomplete. User contributions are gratefully
accepted. We provide series information, wherever possible, on the titles. Information is updated
from time to time by users and the team.
Some ebook titles are available for viewing or downloading, namely those that are not known
to be subject to copyright. In certain instances, permission has been granted by publishers
to make works available on the world wide web, our thanks to them for having the vision to support
the future. New titles become available from time to time as the chronological river winds it's
course, and works fall out of copyright.
Documents are available in different types e.g. txt, doc, lit, pdf, etc. Generally, text files,
Adobe Acrobat (PDF ) and lit files are considered to be safe formats. Virus checking is applied
to all downloadable documents. Vb-Tech,
however, accepts no responsibility for any problems incurred in the usage of this service, or
the content thereof.
The addition of titles to the search engine is an ongoing process, and we welcome contributions
from registered users. As a registered user, you can obtain your own profile with a login, download
ebooks, and see more information in search results, as well as contribute information. Planned
future developments for users include the ability to publish your profile, connect with other
users with the same interests and inter-user messaging.
You can also visit our re-engineered site Adopt-An-Author.com. Please note that you will not
be automatically ported to this site. You can view a beta version of Adopt-An-Author at the
index page of Adopt-An-Author.com.
You can register there, if you wish, and create a personal profile which you can publish.
